Dear Early Learning Center Community,
We see that many of you have still been busy sharing your Adventures with us and we absolutely LOVE that! As we head into our next week of V-Learning, we have taken some of your feedback and have updated a few things on our parent site. You can access a video that shares our changes with you here. Our Flipgrid page is almost at 11,000 views as of today! Can you believe that?! We’ve added a few more videos for you over the weekend to help you with some learning and playtime at home. You should also be hearing from your child’s teachers as well. Please double check your spam folder to make sure some of their emails and ideas are getting to you. They would love to hear how all of you are doing. Thank you again for all you’re doing and will continue to do throughout our time learning virtually!
Week of the Young Child – April 13th-April 17th:
Next week is the Week of the Young Child! Since we won’t be in school, we had a team come up with an At Home edition for all of you to participate at home! You can access the ideas here on our Early Learning Center website. Please share your activities on our V-Learning Site, Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram using the hashtag #wyoc20 #WeAreELC! Next week we’ll post reminders on our social media pages too. We can’t wait to see all of the creative ideas you all come up with!
Support for Families in Need
Families needing assistance may benefit from the resources coordinated by our community and District 54. These resources are being updated daily on the District Webpage here. We are grateful to have the support of a generous and caring community!
Foundation Crisis Fund
District 54 has received several inquiries from families asking if they can make a donation to support those in need during the school closure. Thank you for your care and concern for our community. Anyone wishing to donate is welcome to make a financial contribution to our District 54 Foundation Crisis Fund linked here.

Information about busing and material fees will be communicated this summer. Should you have any questions, please contact your child’s current school office at the above email. Thank you very much.
Just a reminder that there is no “school” on Friday this week. It is a nonattendance day for us. Looking forward to another amazing week ahead and we hope to “see” you all soon virtually!
