The D54 Food Pantries are open and ready to serve our District 54 families (all families who require assistance, not just those receiving free and reduced lunch). Families may visit the food pantry once a month. Please visit the Food Pantry page on the District website to learn more and sign up.
Students who are in a temporary living situation may attend school in the district pursuant to provisions of the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act. Learn more about McKinney-Vento.
School District 54 participates in the Illinois Free Lunch Program. Children may qualify for free milk and lunch, as well as have their consumable fees waived, if they qualify. To learn more and apply, please visit the Free Lunch Program page.
