Supports for Families in Need

The D54 Food Pantries are open and ready to serve our District 54 families (all families who require assistance, not just those receiving free and reduced lunch). Although you will not be able to come into the pantry due to COVID restrictions, you will be able to place an order online and pick up at the pantry site. Families may visit the food pantry once a month. Please visit the Food Pantry page on the District website to learn more and sign up.

Children who lack a fixed, regular and adequate nighttime abode may be considered eligible for McKinney-Vento services. To find out more, please read the McKinney-Vento Information Page.

School District 54 participates in the Illinois Free Lunch Program. Children may qualify for free milk and lunch, as well as have their consumable fees waived, if they qualify. To learn more and apply, please click on the Free and Reduced Lunch Application.
